2005 Harley-Davidson Springer Softail w/Liberty Sidecar For Sale
Additional information
Description
2005 Harley Davidson Springer Softail with attached sidecar. The sidecar has less than 500 miles since new. The motorcycle and sidecar are in excellent mechanical condition. The sidecar has a disc brake with steel braided brake line which runs off of the foot brake. There is a spring over shock and steering damper. The undercarriage is very stout, as you can see from photos. The original owner did the "black-out" treatment of the springer by powder coating all of the chrome except for springs. Some of the powder coat has peeled from handlebars where they are mounted as seen in photos. Cosmetically the motorcycle has no dents. There is a paint chip on the leading edge of front fender as seen on photo. There is a small scratch on left side of gas tank, as shown, but no dents. The sidecar paint is perfect except for some superficial scratches on the front/side of the fender that occured when it brushed along the license plate of another one of my motorcycles as I was backing it out of the garage to take these photos. It is best seen on the second photo, about 3 inches below the highlight on the fender. Leather covered Harley saddlebags are included, although I have left them off to provide for a cleaner look. This rig is a pure delight to drive, and the builder said that it was the sweetest driving outfit he has ever put together, owing this to the springer front end and wide beach handlebars which give great leverage. When looking at the photos, I noticed, at least on the black paint, multiple white spots. These represent dust on the camera sensor because they are not chips in the paint.
