1960 BSA D7 Super Project
Additional information
Description
Offered for sale is this beautiful 1960 BSA Bantam D7 Super, an outstanding example of one of Britain's most popular lightweight motorcycles.
The D7 Super introduced a number of significant improvements over earlier Bantam models, including an all-new swingarm frame, hydraulically damped front forks, upgraded brakes, a nacelle-mounted headlamp, slimmer fenders, and a sportier fuel tank. Power comes from the reliable 173cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine paired with a 3-speed gearbox, featuring the later alloy outer cover on the left side of the crankcase.
This motorcycle has undergone a comprehensive ground-up restoration and presents beautifully. It is currently a running project and is not yet wired, but it includes a complete wiring harness as well as an additional set of handlebars.
Whether displayed as a centerpiece in a collection or completed for enjoyable Sunday rides and classic motorcycle events, this BSA Bantam D7 Super offers tremendous potential and is ready for its next enthusiast owner.
