Description
This Indy 4200 is a nice quality driver - repainted some years ago - and paint is in very good condition. Interior leather is ORIGINAL and in quite good condition - redyed some years ago from Senape (tan) to Nero (black). Windshield trim is with the car and requires some fettling to fit it properly. Electrics have been gone through and everything is working. Chrome and glass are in excellent condition. Carpet is in very good condition. Floorboards both sides were replaced - balance of body is in very good condition. Features - ZF-5 speed manual transmission; original rear hatch stainless steel body gutter trims both sides (almost never an item that is still with an Indy). Original York A/C unit works properly. Tires are older Michelin and look to be original - would need to be replaced for serious driving. This car is more original than a restored Indy.
Model - 1970 Indy 4200 (Series 1) - produced April 1970. Manual Transmission - ZF 5 speed. Kilometres 100,823 (60,375 miles). Paint - Argento (original paint was Celeste Chiaro). Leather - Nero redyed - original Senape leather is in good condition under the redye.
