1982 AMC JEEP CJ-8 Scrambler in Jamaican White with Nutmeg interior.
Truck is originally from south Texas. It has never had any rust on it, so no patch work was used during the restoration. The truck has had a thorough frame off restoration, with attention to every detail. This Scrambler is a show winner. It has seen a little road time since the restoration 3 years ago. At the time of restoration the original motor was overhauled & bored .40 over. Due to a recent problem w/ the crank shaft, the bottom end of the motor has just been over hauled again and has less than 100 miles on it. At the same time we installed a new flywheel & clutch kit. The motor runs perfect now, smooth & quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Of course the 4 wheel drive system all works as well. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts perfectly & cruises nicely on the highway.  I have also installed new door panels & replaced the burnt out headlight, since these photos were taken. This truck runs & drives as good as it looks. You will not be disappointed. This truck is super clean inside & out.
As you may have noticed, it is a factory a/c jeep, but it's missing the under dash component. The rest of the system is under the hood. That's the only thing on the whole truck that is unfinished, everything else is like new.
Again... this CJ-8 has always been free of rust, damage & abuse. They're hard to find in this condition.
