This is a very rare, all original 2002 Avanti Convertible built in Villa Rica, Georgia by Kelley as the Avanti Motor Corporation. It was a redesign by one of the original Loewy's 1963 team, Tom Kellogg. It is based on a brand new Firebird Trans Am that was disassembled and recreated into a luxury and super high performance Avanti.
 The body is high quality fiberglass with great attention to detail and workmanship. The paint is metallic British Racing Green with some very minor paint defects including several small pebble chips on the front fascia. The interior is black and green leather with Avanti script embroidered on the seats. Many of the original interior components were recovered in real leather for a luxury feel.
  This Avanti is powered by the stock 2002 Trans Am 5.7 liter multi-port fuel injected V8 (the LS1 model). Great power, mileage and easy servicing are related to the GM foundation. With the factory-installed MagnaFlow exhaust system, power is well over 330 hp (and it sounds great, too!). Factory equipment includes an automatic transmission with overdrive, 4 wheel disc brakes and Hi-Tec tuned suspension.
  Other factory equipment includes leather seats, a power driver's seat, power windows, locks and mirrors, remote entry, ice cold air conditioning, tilt wheel, cruise control and more. The original stereo has recently been upgraded to a new Pioneer unit with built-in Bluetooth and USB input. Custom Avanti door sills have been installed (the originals are provided as well)
 EExterior features include a front-tilt hood and 17" Avanti polished 2-piece rims with yellow brake calipers. The rims are almost perfect with some minor scratches, but no major curb rash or gouges. The ZR-rated tires are almost new. The convertible top is the original black canvas top. It works super fast and has a glass, heated rear window. A factory 3 piece hard boot to cover the convertible top when down is stored in the trunk. The original manual is included. So are 3 sets of keys with door and trunk remotes.
