1949 Desoto Convertible, Flathead 6, Fluid Drive trans, runs and drives perfect. I have a new fuel pump and water pump in the trunk  that comes with the car. It has New tires, new brakes. The paint is shiny and nice, but not perfect. The interior is all original, the leather is good but the cloth inserts have a couple wear spots. It needs carpet as the original wool carpets were deteriorated. Door panels are good, but need the carpet at the bottom replaced.  All gauges work, all lights work, it even has a light to tell you the park brake is on! That was high tech for 1949!  radio does not work, probably needs a vibrator tube. Top is old and decent, but has one small tear in the back lower corner that is repairable. obviously not visible when the top is down, This is a really great driving affordable old car that you can enjoy driving anywhere and have room for the whole family.
