1970 Olds Toronado GT...W-34 Oldsmobile bolted their 455 Big Block motor ( Hotter cam, Larger intake valves, Rated at 400 hp. this 455 was one hot engine set up..)   into a Grand Touring Muscle car.....Making it rock  solid at speed......  Olds called it,  "  A One of a kind Car, in a Carbon Copy World "......

     The Toronado GT was produced by Oldsmobile for only one year, 1970.  The result is a unique luxury- Muscle coupe. Unique, because it combines Front Wheel Drive with 400 hp under the hood. Of the 25,433 toronados built in 1970, only 5,341 were GT models. The GT provided a 455 cid V-8 with a staggering 400 hp, up 25 hp from the standard 455. A400165 performance cam and a special Torque convertor gave this Toronado 0-60 times of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 135 mph. Dual exhaust cutouts in the rear bumper, and black striping around the wheel wells,  further identify the GT. This GT is " Burnished Gold " with black interior. It is a numbers matching car with AC, AM-FM stereo, and Quartz clock. other factory options are the po3 Deluxe wheel covers, B93 door edge gaurds, D33 remote outside mirror, B32 deluxe floor mats, A42 6 way power seat, and Y60 light package.

      In our estimation, there is no finer, " unrestored Toronado GT " in existence. One day soon, these GT's will be in the 30- 40,000.00 realm.  They are extremely rare, and most collectors don't even know they were made.  It runs and drives fantastic. Such a beautiful road car. The interior is near perfect. Looks at the pictures close. There is one seam in the seat that is split open. otherwise, it is like the day it was built. The exterior is clean and straight. Some fading in the chrome on the rear bumper. We believe the paint is a blend of original and some repaint. In the right light you can see a color in difference in places. Very clean underneath. there is a spot on the lower right fender that is starting to bubble. A common spot on any car of this age.
