Description
Rare 1969 Buick GS350 2-door Hardtop Coupe powered by a 350cui small block GM 5.7L V8 producing 280hp and matched to a ‘Turbo 350’ 3-speed column automatic transmission.
The Buick Gran Sport was launched in 1964 as Buick’s answer to the Pontiac GTO. By 1968 it was on its second-generation body that would carry it through to 1972, and the end of mainstream muscle. From 1968 the Buick GS was based on a Skylark Custom and available with a 350-cid V-8 with 4-barrel carby and boasted 280 horsepower.
This stock 1969 GS350 2-door Hardtop Coupe is a true GS. The engine has just been completely rebuilt approx 2000 miles ago and a mild cam was installed at the time. The frame is straight and rust free, and the car has now been repainted to its original colour of ‘Burgundy Mist’. It is a beautiful example of Buick muscle for its era, and with only 4900 built, it is a rare vehicle.
This GS350 is a real head-turner, and although not perfect show quality, it is in excellent condition & runs and drives great.
