1982 was the first year Mercedes introduced the turbo charger into the gorgeous W123 series coupe .These cars already had a reputation for being reliable and economical. Now they also had enough power for a more fun experience. This car here has only 122k miles on it with extensive records to prove it. It was ordered with the rare option of leather interior and a right side mirror . ( The mirror was just an option in 1982) The leather interior is still in great condition for a 34 year old car. This car has mostly been garaged and it shows . There is absolutely no rust on it and the interior is also in wonderful condition . There are no rips or tears in the seats , the carpets are clean and even the wood is still in very nice condition. 
This car was ordered in the stunning color of "Lapis blue" with palomino color leather interior. The body is straight and the paint still shines like on a much newer car. All the chrome is in great shape as well . This 300CD really stands out and i get compliments on it every time i take it out. It is a pleasure to drive , because it was maintained properly and regularly. Even though, as a 3rd car, it was not driven as much in the last few years , it was always serviced. There are no leaks. Everything seems to work the way it should , including power windows, sunroof and door locks . All the gauges work the way they are intended. The AC has been converted and it blows ice cold. The radio has recently been replaced with a bluetooth enabled unit so you can use your iPhone with the pre installed speaker system and microphone . 
This would be a wonderful car for any car collection. It would be hard to find another 300CD turbo diesel in this condition with only 122k miles and records to prove it. Prices on these cars should only continue to go up in the next few years . This gorgeous coupe would also make a perfect classic car to drive every day . It has been maintained very well and is considered to have very low mileage for the year.These 3 liter 5 cylinder engines are known to go for over 500k miles without any mayor engine work. If you keep taking care of this car , it should last you a lifetime .
