Description
1976 VW Scirocco Resto Mod Build
Original appearance car w/ sleeper performance.
6 year, down to bare metal, then ground up restoration.
Every part as reassembled is new, mint or refurbished.
The challenge with this build was the unavailability of replacement parts.
A build of passion, not for return on investment, as this is a nicer replica of my first car.
Practically a brand new, old car.
Drives tight, is very quick and handles like a slot car.
Build details:

Glass out, bead blasted to bare metal, then new Wurth undercoating & painted Porsche GT Silver.
All new or mint glass, rubber & refinished metal window trim.
Original early chrome bumpers w/ Euro tuck & caps, and OEM duckbill spoiler.
