This is a very attractive 230SL, originally California car that is an older restoration and conversion from the 230 engine to the stronger and more dependable 280sl engine.  At that time suspension and brakes were upgraded to disc brakes.  The car drives fine and looks good.It starts immediately, runs fine, doesn't smoke and performs as it should. The tires are excellent.  It is stored in a climate controlled garage typically. interior is perfect.  Exterior is an older restoration and paint shows some imperfections in several areas but is solid and not dented. All chrome is excellent. The car drives nicely, has power steering, no ac, soft top is perfect, hard, pagoda top is fine on the outside but interior liner on the top is worn.
