Northwest Overland’s 1996 Land Rover Discovery Northwest Overland Edition SD
This one of a kind expedition proven vehicle is being offered fully kitted (minus Roof Top  Tent).
It has been a great overland platform for us and has proven itself time and again. It is the most solid
Land Rover Discovery 1 platform. It is time for a new project vehicle, so she will go to a new owner
for more adventures.

Upgrades and modifications
All upgrades and modifications were documented and completed by Northwest Overland.

Driveline
- Front Driveshaft double cardan driveshaft from Tom Woods driveshafts
- Rear Driveshaft converted to full U-joint shaft from Rotoflex

Electrical
- Optima Yellow Top, deep cell battery with strength indicator at positive terminal
- Rear load space power distribution, 4 circuit panel with 2, 12 volt/USB outlets 
- 2, Dual Blue Sea USB charging receptacles located in driver’s cockpit 
- Rear Rigid LED flood lights, manually controlled from circuit panel
- Rear Door LED light strip hard mounted
- 7” Round headlamp conversion on custom lamp shrouds

Engine
- 20k miles on new heads and gaskets, camshaft, hydraulic lifters, timing chain and gears, water pump,
   clear expansion tank, cooling hoses, valve cover gaskets, ignition wires, vacuum hoses                                                   
- 10k miles on new power steering pump and power steering hoses
- 20k miles on Magnaflow stainless steel Y pipe and catalytic converters
- New engine and transmission mounts
- NRP stainless steel muffler and exhaust

- Safety Devices, modified (for roof top tent) series 1 Highlander roof rack with 3 jerry Can Nests
