Rare 1971 VW Extended Crew Cab Pick-Up Truck
This is a very rare 1971 VW pick-up with the extended cab! I am a collector of rare automobiles and this is truly a unique and awesome VW. When was the last time you have seen one of these? This VW is mechanically sound and can be driven and enjoyed.
My intentions were to enjoy this vehicle and restore it but unfortunately my plans have changed and now am offering it for sale! It is a blast to drive, a definite attention getter and just "Cool".
These pickups have been increasing in value recently and this VW is a wonderful example to enjoy and then take to the next level. It has the typical rust underneath and some rust on the lower rocker panels - all parts otherwise are readily available and inexpensive. I also have the original 1 year only transmission (not presently on vehicle), which is almost impossible to find for originality.
