This 1968 Chevrolet Impala wagon was originally ordered with a partial Super Sport package before being professionally restored by the Lingenfelter Collection. After the restoration this car was part of the 150-car collection and has virtually no miles on the restoration.  The original big-block 396 was rebuilt by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering with a new roller cam, polished heads, performance intake, Holley carb and coated headers, and now puts out a ground-pounding 415hp.

The restoration also included a rebuilt Turbo-Hydramatic transmission connecting to a 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears, providing more hop off of the line for this sleeper of a wagon. Behind the coated headers is a new custom dual exhaust that highlights the power put out by the tuned 396 big-block.

Bringing all this power to a stop are new Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners, period-correct Rally wheels and BF Goodrich radial T/As.

The beautiful new teal interior matched the metallic teal exterior paint. The carpet, headliner, door cards and seats are all new, and there is no wear and tear on the interior restoration because of the time this car was on display in the Collection. The interior of this car is absolutely gorgeous...!(Note that the Lingenfelter lettering on the windshield is vinyl and easily removable.)
